ReGreen stands out from other compost machines with its advanced technology and distinct structural design. Made of durable metal and enhanced glass, it is not only easy to clean but also recyclable. The circular design principle ensures that ReGreen can be easily disassembled and recycled, further contributing to its environmentally friendly nature.
Measuring at 200mm in width, 200mm in depth, and 500mm in height, ReGreen is compact yet powerful. Its small size makes it suitable for urban environments, where obtaining organic compost can be a challenge. With ReGreen, individuals can now produce their own high-quality compost, reducing their ecological footprint and promoting sustainable horticulture.
Operating ReGreen is simple and hassle-free. Users start by placing food waste in the shredding part, which then shreds it into small pieces. The waste residual drops down into the compost box. Enzymes are added to the compost box and covered, allowing the compost to transform into organic soil and compost tea within a few weeks. The organic soil can be used for planting, while the compost tea serves as a natural fertilizer.
ReGreen was developed in Taoyuan, Taiwan, starting in August 2018 and completed in May 2019. It has been showcased at various exhibitions, including the "InnoVEX Special Exhibition" in Taipei, Taiwan, and the "TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco 2019" in San Francisco, USA. The design has received accolades, including the Bronze A' Design Award in the Sustainable Products, Projects, and Green Design category in 2020.
ReGreen addresses the major concerns associated with composting in urban areas, such as sanitation, odor, and pests. Through model experiments and statistical examinations, it has been proven that plants grown using organic soil from the ReGreen system thrive and flourish. This innovative solution not only tackles food waste but also educates users about environmental sustainability.
With its stylish and practical design, ReGreen inspires users to engage in continuous composting. By reusing leftover food and returning beneficial bacteria to the ground, ReGreen contributes to a more sustainable and eco-friendly future.
